Johnson-Iorio Memorial Park
Haviland Road, Highland, Ulster County, New York

From Poughkeepsie (Route 55/44), head west over the Mid-Hudson Bridge; take the exit for Route 9W north; head north on 9W;  take the first right turn (Haviland Road);  travel to the end of the road where the parking area is located.

To get down to the banks of the Hudson River:  9W north to a right turn onto Haviland Road; in a short distance turn left onto Mile Hill Road; at a T-intersection, turn left (following the Mariner's directional sign); at Oakes Road turn right and follow it to the end.  (Good view of the eastern bank of the Hudson River area south of the Mid-Hudson River Bridge.)

Very small park; great views of Poughkeepsie across the river.
