No Dogs!! One of the maintenance men even got after me for just having the dog in my car even though the dog stayed in the car. "Rules are rules!" he says.

TZ Bridge; US 87; from my house it is 24.5 miles to the exit for US 287 South/Rt. 17 South; take Route 17S (left lanes); at 26.5 miles I got off at the first exit (on the right), which is Rt. 202 (Ramapo Valley Road); at 28.3 miles I turned left onto Darlington Avenue (just past the southern end of Ramapo College); at 29.6 miles turned into the park entrance.

Darlington is a 232 acre site at the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains with three seasons of diverse opportunities offering swimming, white sand beaches, wooded picnic groves, open lawns, tennis, fishing, basketball, handball, and wildlife observation.

There is some wooded areas, but they do not appear to be very large. The park abuts a golf course.
