TACKAMACK TOWN PARK
Clausland Mountain Road, Rockland County, NY


Directions:

Follow the directions for parking at Blauvelt. The park is divided into two sections by Clausland Mountain Road. The northern part is encompassed by Blauvelt State park, while the southern part is encompassed by Clausland Mountain County Park.


History:

The park was named after the Indian Jans Claus, whose Indian name was Tackamack.


Trails:

The Long Path traverses both sections of the park.
