Directions:

Took US 87 north and got off at the exit for US 84 west. Got off at exit 5 (mile marker 29.0) and turned right onto Route 208 north. Drive 2.0 miles and turn left onto Bailey Road. Follow Bailey Road to a right turn on Farm Meadow Lane. Drive a short ways and turn right into the park entrance.

Trails:

We took the Hemlock Trail going northeast and came back on the Maple Trail. There is also a White Oak trail that hooks up with the Maple Trail.

We returned to our starting point and then took the Red Oak Trail southwest. We walked quite a ways along the riverbank until we got to the "No Trespassing" signs and then just turned around and walked back.

5/12/07.  Doing a photo tour of the Wallkill River. Nice day in a nice park.  There were a few walkers, sunbathers, picnickers and fishermen.   One couple was throwing the frisbre. The water is shallow here.  There is a little white water that makes a noise like a waterfall was nearby.  Patrick L. Cooney
