Directions:
Take Route 70 to Bridge Avenue (Route 528). The natural area is on the south side, west of the bridge.
History:
There was a Life Saving Station in Mantoloking, first known as Swan Point, then Squan Point Station. Captain John Lott Dorsett was the station keeper from 1862 to 1878. (Miller 2000:250)
