There is a big parking area just before the first bridge over the Raritan River at Landing Lane.


History:

In the 1820's Vanderbilt and Gibbons steamboats made connections here with stages bound for Philadelphia.

 


Facilities:

Here in this park near Rutgers University, Busch Campus, there is a one-way road for cars and for walkers and skaters. There are also picnic tables, fireplaces, and tennis courts.


Trails:

The walker can walk along a primitive path along the Raritan River.
