AMBROSE-DOTTY COUNTY PARK
Sidney Road, Piscataway Township, Middlesex County, NJ

Directions:

New Jersey Turnpike south; Exit 10 for US 287 north; take Exit 7 and turn left onto South Randolphville Road (which becomes Behmer Road); turn left onto Sidney Road and drive 0.15 of a mile. The park entrance is on the right.

5/02/00.  The various parks that the maps show surrounding Ambrose Brook are not readily accessible. The perimeters are surrounded by businesses, schools, and residential areas.  The plant list is compiled from brief stops in the area of Ambrose Doty's Brook and Lake Nelson Memorial Park.

04/04/2005.  Ceferino Santana, dog Sonar and I took another attempt at finding accessibility to the park. I reiterate the problem of accessibility noted in 2000.  But we did find the park entrance (but this is primarily a recreational field with soccer fields and a bike route along open lawn).
