TOTTENVILLE BEACH, STATEN ISLAND
Tottenville Beach is located on the very southern tip of Staten Island.
At the intersection of Hyland Boulevard and Page Avenue in Tottenville. Take the Outerbridge Crossing. Turn right at the first exit after the toll booth, and bear right, then left (south) on Page Avenue to Hylan Boulevard.
By public transportation: Busses run from ferry terminal in Saint George to the end of Hyland Boulevard; get off at Page Avenue.
Here, you can relax while sunbathing, or stroll down its sandy coast taking in the fresh air and beautiful views.
Nearby you can walk to The Conference House, a National Landmark remembered for its historical peace conference between the Continental Congress and Lord Howe. Open Wednesday-Sunday, 1p.m.-4p.m., Mar.15-Dec.15. For more information about The Conference House call (718) 984-2086.
Parking and public transportation are available. From the Staten Island Ferry Terminal take Bus S78 (55 minutes).
